When Music Sounds (SSAA & piano version)

Commissioned and premiered by the Penn State Glee Club (Christopher Kiver, director), When Music Sounds sets text by Walter de la Mare and is an ode to the power of music.  The piece opens with a gently unfolding piano introduction answered by the chorus; the chorus is divided into two, three, and four parts respectively for the poem's three stanzas.  Originally composed for TTBB & piano; also arranged for SATB & piano.  Also available for SATB & chamber ensemble (fl, ob, cl, bn, hn, hp, 2 vn, va, vc, db [pno may be substituted for harp]); contact info@aretemusicimprints.com for more information.  SSAA & piano.  8.5"x11".  Duration approx. 4'.
